12 cubic yard Agitor mounted on Cat 769B chassis for hauling mass aggregate
concrete. The Agitor is feeding concrete to a belt conveyor.

The all new patented Maxcrete IV Remix Surge Hopper is the ONLY open
top, low profile concrete hopper that loads and discharges simultaneously.
The Maxcrete accepts concrete from transport vehicles, provides remix capabilities,
and feeds quality concrete to pumps, conveyors, or buckets.
Federal Triangle Project, Washington D.C. A 10 cubic yard Maxcrete, mounted
directly under a central mix plant, allowed the contractor to discharge 10
yards of concrete and begin mixing another load. At the same time, the Maxcrete
would feed concrete to either of two concrete pumps, or both at the same time,
using a special shuttle designed by Maxon. The pumps allowed the contractor
to place concrete anywhere on-site, delivering 250,000 cubic yards in just
under 2 years.

Strait Crossing, Prince Edward Island, Canada. Three 10 cubic yard Maxcretes
were mounted on barges and served as concrete remix surge hoppers, feeding
concrete to various pumps. The project consisted of 44 pier bases constructed
for the bridge crossing of the Northcumberland. The concrete was hauled up
to 13km across water in buckets, and then dumped into the Maxcretes. The Maxcretes
would remix the concrete, and feed to various pumps for placement in the pier
bases.

Kenny-Kiewit-Shea, Chicago, IL. Twelve 12 cubic yard Agitors and two
10 cubic yard Maxcretes were used on a tunnel project in Chicago. The equipment
placed up to 160 cubic yards of concrete per hour. The Agitors and Maxcretes
were rail mounted. The Agitors would transport concrete in cars of three from
the drop shaft, hauling up to 45 cubic yards of concrete per load. The Agitors
would discharge into two Maxcretes located at the forms. The Maxcrete would
remix the concrete and charge a concrete pump. The pump would place the concrete
into the 300' long, 30' dia. form, with 1" thick lining.

Agitator Control: Rotates in either direction or stops paddles.
Mixer Speed Control: Allows combination of 3 separate pumps to turn

The Mini-Maxcrete is a versatile on-site material mixer and transporter.
Therefore, it is ideal for both hauling and on-site mixing of concrete and/or
special mixing applications.

High discharge point permits discharge into 55 gallon drum, chute, conveyor,
or pump.

Trailer: high strength steel frame with two 6,000 lb. rated axles,

Our customers have successfully used open top Agitors to haul concrete to
Maxcrete Remix Surge Hoppers feeding concrete pumps in many tunnel applications.
The limiting factor for using Agitors is the diameter of the tunnel since
the Agitor body must elevate to discharge. This limits the application of
Agitors to 20' bore tunnels or larger. However, there are many tunnels built
with smaller diameters. The Tramcrete's low profile allows it to haul concrete
in tunnels with bores as small as 12'.
