The Maxon Agitor’s high discharge point and the slide frame, installed between the truck chassis and the Agitor allow it to reach wide and high forms. When equipped with a special agitator, the Agitor is the best unit for transporting and placing SCC concrete for prestress and precast applications.                 Equipment shown at left includes a Maxon Agitor mounted on a special rail mounted self propelled chassis supplied by Hamilton Equipment. The complete unit travels over a precast form bed for pouring concrete railroad ties. The complete system can be lifted off one bed, and placed over another. Production increased significantly as a result of the self propelled Agitor.                 In addition to conventional truck mounted Agitors, Maxon offers custom equipment configurations for special placing on prestress projects. Shown at left is a Maxon Agitor mounted on a customized truck chassis, complete with radial stacking belt conveyor. The unit is ideal for high and wide forms requiring long reach.                 Maxon now offers the Mobile Agitor, a complete unitized self contained 12 cubic yard concrete transporter for placing concrete in prestress applications.
